In fall 2015, I took my first Writing and Rhetoric course, Writing for Publication. In this course, I learned about the rhetorical situation and how to use it to attract and engage my intended audience when writing a piece of written work. This was the beginning of really understanding the power of rhetoric and how it is essential as a writer. The price below was an assignment to write an article for a current online publication as if we were submitting it to be published. I really honed my skills in multi-media writing and how each component of the price speaks rhetorically toward the reader.
