Marketing Identity

A peek into my journey as a marketer.

Marketing is a growing industry. My passion for marketing developed during my sophomore year at Valencia College. I decided I wanted to begin interning and my advisor suggested I take a marketing internship. I began interning at Osceola Arts and gained skills in interview email marketing, social media marketing, and blogging. From there, I became a Social Media Intern at Crossman & Company where I continued developing my social medial coordinating skills. I mostly focused on promotion and developing new campaigns to attract new followers and subscriber. I was later hired as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at B&B Promotions, where I created a developed social media accounts, such as Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Facebook for clients.

Once I arrived at UCF, I decide to cultivate my marketing skills academically by adding a marketing minor. I took classes in Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Analysis & Research Methods, Marketing Management, Professional Selling, and International Marketing. (For more details on the content of these courses, please refer to my Course Study tab.) I learned a great deal from these classes that I will incorporate as I further my career in marketing.

These experiences above have aided me in cultivating my marketing and social media skills. I have also received excellent feedback from my employers and showcased my strong commitment to performing my responsibilities in a professional and effective manner. I have worked well in team environments and I am detail-oriented, customer-focused, eager to learn, highly organized and self-motivated. All together I am a great assist to any marketing team in an entertainment-based company in the Greater Orlando area.
